Psychosocial Disability
What is psychosocial disability?
Psychosocial disability (PSD) is a term used to describe a disability that may arise from a mental health issue. PSD may be episodic or persistent, debilitating and long lasting.
Recovery
Recovery is about achieving an optimal state of personal, social and emotional wellbeing, as defined by each individual, whilst living with or recovering from mental health issues.
How we can help
People affected by PSD may find it challenging to set goals, make plans, engage in relaxation activities or to simply unwind. Our tranquility respite is designed to facilitate the relaxation process with the guidance of expertly trained support workers.
